As of Winter 2016
RHS last Pottery Piece was in 2015 which featured a sketch of the Bartsch Garage on a small Bread Baker Dish. The piece was release Memorial Day 2015. There are still some other past pieces of the RHS Redwing pottery available featuring various Rapidan businesses, so please hurry if you are interested.
Now that the Depot restoration has been mostly completed, our plans are to have the Depot open on Sunday afternoons from Memorial Day to Labor Day. However, for this to happen we need volunteers to step forward to fill these shifts at the Depot. It is a great way to meet people and talk about Rapidan! Call Jane Haala if you are able to staff the depot for a day (or more).
A BIG thank you to Mel Hage for coordinating all of the volunteer painting of the depot project. If you haven’t seen the newly painted depot, get over to Rapidan and see the beautiful job he did, we couldn’t of asked for such a great volunteer.
RHS Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M.(Winter months) and 7:30 P.M.(Summer months). Please note time change for summer months.
If your MEMBERSHIP is due or has expired, please send your renewal check to RHS in care of Jane Haala, Secretary at 55186 190th Street, Mankato, MN. Thank you, we value your membership, it helps to fund some of the wonderful events RHS does throughout the year and the restoration projects.
